Heartfelt Memories - Beareavement Program
Storytellers is supporting and endorsing Heartfelt Memories, a beareavement program developed to provide small 8x8 scrapbook albums to parents of infant and toddlers who pass away!
We are holding an in-store Crop to support this program! April 26, 2008 from 10:oo am to 8:00 pm and on April 27, 2008 from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm. There is no crop fee but we do ask that you contact us to register to come (either day or both days). During these crops, scrapbookers will be creating general page layouts. We need volunteers to help create these albums so that parents can keep the memory of their child even after their short lives have ended. These albums will be given to those parents (FREE) Let's get together and do some good for our community!
To register to attend both or just one day to come in and create some layouts, contact our store via email at customerservice@ storytellerscraps.com or via telephone 410-273-7535.
Can't attend but want to help out? Create some layouts and drop them off at our store or send them to us via mail. Don't have time to create? We also accept any scrapbooking items you may wish to donate! Again, drop your donation off in our store, or your donation to us.

Buzz Words from CHA Winter
At CHA Winter, there were great new buzz words going around in the scrapbooking industry. So, here's the top three:
Green: "Green products are items that are friendly to our environment and a considerable number of manufacturers are letting us know it's time to go green. Society is going green, are you?
Hybrid: This one is especially fun! "Hybrid" is the changing up and interaction between two different art and craft techniques, like digital scrapbooking is a hybrid of traditional scrapbooking, i.e. Hybrid Scrapbooking. Hybrid cardmaking is the hybrid of traditional cardmaking. Hybrid Embossing is the new way of embossing. (using dimensional paint versus traditional embossing powder)
Crafting: Crafting is back! We sensed a renewed interest in old favorites like painting, clay, bead, jewelry, ribbon, and needlearts. And the color! Bold, rich, sassy, and clean. Distressing using bright colors and bright inking!
